About this edition

Virgil: The Complete Works of Virgil — a complete modern English translation made in 2026 by Scriptorium Press directly from the Latin, free to read online, free to download (EPUB and plain text), and free to listen to. 26 books; about 138,960 words. The translation was produced by a Claude model fleet and checked against the original; the audiobook is read by a synthetic voice, and both say so.
