through the dust of destruction . . .
Drink was poured(?); a second time he ga[ve] — [a cup] [in one hand,]
a flagon in both hands . . .
Like grain(?), like gravel they were gathered up.
El guards(?) his son. The Bull —
and the Kindly One, El the Compas[sionate,] spoke:
'The name of my son is Yaw, O goddess' —
and he proclaimed the name: Sea.
They answered, the ones who feed us(?):
'You are lord: proclaim it!'
'I am the Kindly One, El [the Compassionate:]
upon my hands I have procl[aimed] —
your name is Beloved of E[l.]
A house of my silver, which is —
take it from the hand of Mightiest B[aal,]
for he has despised me.
Drive him from the th[rone] [of his kingship,] [from] [the resting place,] [from] [the seat]
of his dominion. Chase [him out!]
But if, then, you do not —

El held a sacrifice:
