It is still inhabited today, a village on the left of the road that leads from Neapolis to Aelia. It fell to the tribe of Benjamin. Another Louza (Judg 1:26), which fell to the sons of Joseph, lying near Sychem, nine miles from Neapolis. Lotan (Gen 36:20): a city of the chiefs of Edom.

?| From Numbers and Deuteronomy. <Lebona (Num 33:20): a station of the sons of Israel in the desert. Lobon (Deut 1:1): a place in the desert beyond the Jordan, where Moses reads Deuteronomy.

?| From Joshua.> Lacheis (Josh 10:3): Joshua took this too, after killing its king. Isaiah also mentions it. It <is> still there, six miles south of Eleutheropolis on the way to the Daroma. There is now a village in the territory of Eleutheropolis called Lobana. It occurs also in Isaiah. Laseron (Josh 12:18): Joshua took this too, after killing its king. Lithos Boen (Josh 15:6): among the sons of Reuben, a boundary of the tribe of Judah. Laboth (Josh 15:32): of the tribe of Judah. Lamas (Josh 15:40): of the tribe of Judah. Laboth (Josh 19:6): of the lot of Simeon. Labanath (Josh 19:26): of the lot of Asher. Lakoum (Josh 19:33): a boundary of Naphtali.

?| From Judges. Laboemath (Judg 3:3): Aquila: of the entrance of Emath. Lesem (Josh 19:47): the sons of Dan besieged this and [….] Dan. Louza (Judg 1:26): this is another, beside Bethel, lying in the land of the Chettieim; the man who escaped from Bethel founded it, as is told in Judges. Lechei (Judg 15:19): in Lechei; Aquila and Symmachus: in the jawbone. Laisa (Judg 18:27ff.): the sons of Dan took this and settled it, since it lay far from Sidon, and they called it Dan.
