Seven times, and they shall return to their station [...] and after them three troops of infantry shall go out and stand between the battle-lines [...] the first troop shall cast at
the enemy's battle-line seven war-javelins [...] and on the blade of the javelin they shall write, 'Flashing spear for the might of God' [...] and on the second shield they shall write,
'Sparks of blood to fell the slain in the wrath of God' [...] and on the third javelin they shall write, 'Flame of a sword devouring the slain of iniquity by the judgment of God' [...]
All these shall hurl seven times, and they shall return to their station [...] and after them two troops of infantry shall go out and stand between the two battle-lines [...] the
first troop holding spear and shield [...] and the second troop holding shields and javelin to fell the slain by the judgment of God and to subdue the battle-line of
the enemy by the might of God, to repay the recompense of their evil to every nation of vanity [...] and the kingdom shall belong to the God of Israel, and among the holy ones of His people He shall do valiantly [...]
And seven columns of horsemen shall also stand, on the right of the battle-line and on its left [...] on this side and on that their columns shall stand, seven hundred
horsemen on the one side and seven hundred on the second side [...] two hundred horsemen shall go out with a thousand from the battle-line of the infantry men, and thus
they shall stand on [both sides of] the camp, the whole being six thousand four hundred [...] and one thousand four hundred chariots for the men of the rule of the battle-lines,
fifty for [each] battle-line [...] and the horsemen shall be upon the chariots of the men of the rule, six thousand five hundred per tribe [...] all the chariots going out
to war with [the men of] the infantry: male horses, swift of foot, soft of mouth, and long of spirit, and complete in the reckoning of their days, trained for war
and accustomed to hearing [sounds] and to every sight of visions [...] and those riding upon them, men of valor for war, trained in chariotry and in the reckoning of
their days, from thirty years old to forty-five years old [...] and the horsemen of the rule shall be from forty years old to fifty years old, and they
[...] [...] ranks and companies of chiefs and legs [...] and holding in their hand round shields and a long spear, eight [cubits] [...]
