for judgment you appointed him, and a rock for his reprover you established him [...] pure of eyes
from seeing evil, and to look at trouble you are not able [...]
The interpretation of the passage is that God will not annihilate his people by the hand of the nations,
but by the hand of his chosen one God will give the judgment of all the nations, and by their rebuke
all the wicked of his people will be condemned [...] who kept his commandments
in their distress. For he is the one who said, pure of eyes from seeing
evil [...] its interpretation is that they did not go astray after their eyes in the age of
wickedness [...] Why do you look on, traitors, and stay silent when the wicked swallows
one more righteous than he [...] Its interpretation concerns the house of Absalom
and the men of their council, who were silent at the rebuke of the Teacher of Righteousness
and did not help him against the Man of the Lie, who rejected
the Law in the midst of all their congregation. [...] and you make man like the fish of the sea,
